Our keynote this year is Dr Carmen Sandi, Professor, EPFL, Switzerland. She will be giving a talk titled "Neural circuits and metabolic pathways bridging stress, anxiety and low motivation" at 1:00 pm in HSC, Theatre 4, followed by a Q&A period. Following the talk at 2:30 pm, join us in the HRIC atrium for the Welcome Back, as we kick start the exciting Fall Semester. he event will offer you the opportunity to interact and engage in vibrant conversations with your peers and colleagues, with an eclectic mix of faculty members, students, staff, and welcome you all into the HBI community.

Bryan Kolb Lecture Series
Recognized as a founding father of behavioural neuroscience in Canada as well as one of the most influential neuroscientists in the world, Dr. Bryan Kolb has made enormous contributions to the understanding of brain and behavior. The Brian Kolb Lecture in Behavioural Neuroscience series began in 2010 to honour our friend and colleague of the HBI.
